Tandem Skydiving

Jumping out of a plane isn't straight forward, it's straight down!...

Tandem parachute jumping is the quickest easiest way to experience free fall. Once you've booked in, all you need to do is turn up to the parachute centre, kit up and you'll be experiencing free fall as soon as possible. After your briefing you'll be introduced to your fully qualified BPA instructor so you can get to know each other. Next you'll go on a lovely scenic ride up to jump altitude where you will experience free fall, before being gently piloted back to terra-firma under canopy. Why choose to do a tandem jump?

Tandem Skydives cost £250! A tandem skydive is the easiest quickest way to experience free fall. Free fall being the bit most people love. Imagine the sensation, your brain is telling you that you're falling, you can feel you're falling, but to you, it feels more like you're flying...

Ask someone to describe what a skydive feels like and usually they will struggle to explain it, other than tell you that it was a once in a lifetime experience. Tandem skydiving is also open to pretty much anyone, and furthermore you don't have to do any of the work as your instructor does it all for you, that means not only do you get a worry free thrill ride, but you get to enjoy the scenic ride of the canopy back down to earth.

What is included in the price?

  • Full kit hire including jump suit, goggles and flying hat
  • Training instructor hire
  • Aircraft fuel duty
  • BPA Official third party insurance*
  • 30 to 40 minute training session
  • 20-25 minute flight up to 10,000 feet

Restrictions

There are however a few small restrictions; you must be in a resonably fit state of health and be under 15 stone (95kg) . It is important that any person undertaking a skydive is fit to do so. Anyone taking part in a skydive is required to have a Declaration of Fitness, in line with the requirements of the British Parachute Association. If you do not meet the requirments of BPA Form 115A, you will need to take F115B to your GP to sign and stamp, just to say you're all okay to jump with us. 

*The BPA Membership currently includes public liability insurance (third party) up to the value of £5,000,000. Once purchased, membership of the BPA is non-refundable and non-transferable. BPA insurance provides no cover for personal injury or death.
